Do you have a Customer Service Department?

Not officially; however, each one of our staff are here to meet our community’s water needs. Please call with any question or concern at 724-628-2930, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Where can I pay my water bill?

There are several ways to pay, from an in-office visit to our drop-box and online payment services. To learn more, please visit our Payments page.

How do I apply for water service?

Arrange to visit our office to begin the application process. You must bring a non-expired driver’s license. Learn more on our Applying for Service page.

Is there a charge to sign up for water service?

If service has been shut off, there will be a fee to have service restored. Please call our office for applicable fees and more information. Call us at 724-628-2930, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we can accept credit card payments. Please visit our Payments page for more information.

Why is my bill so high?

Whenever we hear this question, the possibility of a water leak comes to mind. Please refer to our pages on Meter Reading and How to Find a Leak. After checking to see if a leak may be costing you more than you anticipated, please call or stop by our office for additional information.

What is a cubic foot of water

A cubic foot of water is equal to 7.48 gallons of water (100 cubic feet=748 gallons)

Is there a minimum monthly charge?

Do you add fluoride to the water?

No. We do not add fluoride to our water supply. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact us. Call us at 724-628-2930, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Is there lead in the water?

Technically, the answer is yes. While there are faint traces of lead in the water, our water supply meets or exceeds all standards for safe drinking water, and trace elements such as lead are always monitored at harmless levels.

What part of my water line am I responsible for?

The customer is responsible for the section of waterline from the shut off valve at the curb to the residence or place of business, including all interior plumbing and fixtures except for the water meter.

As a landlord, what happens if one of my tenants do not pay their bill?

The property owner is liable to pay the tenant’s unpaid bill for services rendered to the tenant by the Authority.
